How sessions will work

Hearing Test

All clients are required to have had a full hearing test completed within the last 2 years. I will request a copy of this prior to seeing you.

Why?

Hearing tests can indicate whether there may be an underlying hearing loss causing your tinnitus. Viewing your hearing test allows me to give you advice and reassurance regarding potential causes of your tinnitus.

Inital Appointment - £55

Your first appointment will be up to 45 minutes and involves a series of questions exploring hearing history, medical background and most importantly a deep dive into tinnitus impact. I hope to answer any questions you may have about tinnitus management and offer advice around any factory which could be contributing to louder tinnitus.

Therapy Appointments - £70

These management sessions will last up to an hour and will focus around either education, CBT or ACT techniques. Each session will have its goal set out at the start and will end with a task for you to continue practicng until the next session. A typical course of CBT/ACT therapy takes around 6 sessions but can be tailored to individual needs.
I understand that therapy is difficult for everyone and results vary; hence I will never ask you to pay upfront for a block of sessions & instead will charge per session so you feel in control throughout.

How do I access the treatment?

Appointments are all carried out by video call using the secure video conferencing platform, Google Meet.
