Below are some questions and answers that you may find relevant about myself or my services.

How many sessions will I need?

A patient's typical tinnitus therapy journey involves 6 - 8 sessions. These can be arranged at your leisure, ensuring sufficient time between sessions to practice techniques learnt during our time together.

These do not need to be booked in bulk.

What is required before my first session?

Before your first it is required that you create an account in the Patient Booking Portal  so that I can collect relevant information about you such as Name, Address and history before I see you.

Please also ensure you upload a recent hearing test as I will not be able to see you without one. This ensures I am able to tailor my sercies to your needs.

Do you offer phone appointments?

No - This is due to the nature of our discussions. Sessions often invlove visual education and being able to see you helps me connect and understand your emotions better.

Having appointments take place over the phone would not offer the same level of care and service required due to the complexity of tinnitus management therapies.

Can I reschedule a session?

You can login to the Patient Booking Portal if you need to ammend your session time.

Please note that for appointments within 24 hours you will need to contact me via jenni@tinnitustalkingtherapies.co.uk to request a change.

What video platform is used for the session?

We will be using the Google Meet platform. This ensures that you can join from any device and enables the smoothest experience possible.

Please ensure the device you are joining from meets the minimum requirements below:

  • Webcam (built-in or USB)
  • Microphone (built-in or external)

  • Broadband internet connection or if on mobile a stable 4G / 5G connection
  • 3 Mbps minimum

Mobile

  • Google Meet app or Gmail app
  • Android 5.0+ or iOS

What are your fees and payment options?

How can I pay?

You can pay via bank transfer or cheque. Using the information provided at the bottom of the invoice sent to you.

Is there an age limit?

Appointments can be carried out with anyone 16 years and over. I ask that under 18's have a parent/guardian present for their initial appointment.

Will you see patients from outside of the UK?

Yes. Appointments can be carried out from anywhere as they are all completed via Google Meet. If you are outside of the UK then please remember to take into account the time difference when booking your slot.
